JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL – 2017

A Japanese Film Festival will be held at National Film Corporation Theatre, 303, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7, on 23rd and 24th September 2017. The Film Festival is presented by the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation in collaboration with the National Youth Services Council, National Film Corporation and the Ship for World Youth Alumni Association.
Admission to the theatre is free of charge.
Film Schedule
This year’s festival features Japanese rural life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city as well as the natural beauty of Japan. The four films to be screened have received high acclaims in film festivals both in Japan and internationally.
