Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Japan Self-Defense Forces, visited Sri Lanka

      
    
      Admiral Kawano(Chief of Staff, Joint Staff, Japan Self-Defense Forces) paid his first official visit to Sri Lanka from 8 to 9 March following the invitation by Admiral Wijegunaratne, Chief of Defence Staff.
 
     During his stay, Admiral Kawano called on H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, Hon. Ruwan Wijeyawardene, State Minister of Defence and his counterpart and discussed matters to further promote cooperation and exchanges in maritime security and safety.
