On 28^th October, Ambassador MIZUKOSHI Hideaki and the Governor of Northern Province, Hon. Mr. Jeevan Thiagarajah co-hosted a roundtable discussion on sustainable economic development and future of the Northern Province, inviting Ambassadors of some Asian countries, representatives of development organizations and Sri Lankan government officials. There was a good exchange of views and experiences to seek future opportunities among the participants. Ambassador MIZUKOSHI expressed his expectation that this event would initiate active discussion for the uplifting of people’s lives in the Northern Province. Ambassador MIZUKOSHI emphasized Japan’s continuous assistance to Northern Province in various sectors, through humanitarian assistance and promotion of trade and investment.
