Ambassador MIZUKOSHI attended the opening ceremony of Toyota Lanka Fulfilment Center

Fulfilment Center, a distribution base of Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited, a Japanese-affiliated company. Hon. President Ranil Wickremesinghe also graced the ceremony with his presence and delivered his remarks. followed by “Kagamibiraki”, the ceremonial opening of a sake barrel.
Toyota Lanka has been making significant contribution to the local economy by employing 1,200 Sri Lankans in total at 18 branches across the country. On top of this, Toyota Lanka continues to be an award winner in the after-sales service category for 8 consecutive years. Their employees’ sophisticated technical skills and hospitality contribute to establishing solid Japanese brand in Sri Lanka.
The newly opened logistics hub is said to be the largest in South Asia, covering 30,000 square meters, with 13,000 square meters of warehouse and the capacity to store more than 300 vehicles.
It is hoped that the opening of this logistics base will further develop business relations between our two countries.
