Embassy of Japan in Colombo Celebrates His Majesty the Emperor's 64th Birthday

The Embassy of Japan in Colombo graciously hosted distinguished guests at the Ambassador's official residence to celebrate the 64th birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. This distinguished ceremony, held on 21 February 2024, was a poignant occasion to strengthen the enduring friendship between Japan and Sri Lanka.
The Honourable Wijayadasa Rajapaksha, Member of Parliament and Minister of Justice, Prisons and Constitutional Reforms, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He was joined by a distinguished gathering of Cabinet and State Ministers, Members of Parliament and other dignitaries. Mr. MIZUKOSHI Hideaki, Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, expressed his sincere appreciation for the presence of the distinguished guests and emphasized the paramount importance of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual prosperity.
