Ambassador ISOMATA visited an oil tank farm, visited Easter Bombings-relates sites and observed bridges constructed under ODA grant projects

On the morning of 22nd January, Ambassador ISOMATA visited an oil tank farm into which a Japanese fighter jet crashed during WW2 and prayed for the deceased. He also observed Panichchankeni Causeway & Bridge, one of five bridges constructed under an ODA grant project from 2010 to 2013.
In the afternoon, Ambassador ISOMATA visited Kattankudy mosque and Zion Church bombed by Easter Sunday Attack in 2019. The scars there still remain us of the deadly incident.
Ambassador also observed Manmunai Bridge constructed under an ODA grant project from 2011 to 2014 and visited Batticaloa Fort.
