Japan Relaxed Travel Advisory for Sri Lanka

　In light of the stabilization of security situation in Sri Lanka as a result of the large-scale and intensive investigations and security re-enforcement by the concerned authorities, the Government of Japan relaxed the travel advisory nation-wide from level-2 (refrain from non-essential travel) to level-1(exercise sufficient caution) on June 25, 2019.
 
　The Government of Japan, however, continues to advise the Japanese nationals to maintain sufficient vigilance during their stay in Sri Lanka with possible occurrence of terrorist attacks and other incidents of violence in mind.
