Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr. MOTEGI ’s visit to Sri Lanka

Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka from 12th to 14th December, 2019 with a view to further strengthening the bilateral relationship between Japan and Sri Lanka with the new Government of Sri Lanka. Mr. MOTEGI will have a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister, Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena and pay courtesy calls on President, H. E. Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister, Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa on December 13th. Foreign Minister MOTEGI will discuss furthering the bilateral relations, including cooperation towards realizing “Free and Open Indo- Pacific”.
